Ed Nesbit's A Pretence of Wit was performed in the first New Dots concert (November 2012), and so it was very nice to see it shortlisted in the Vocal category for a British Composer Award last year. Richard Uttley caught up with him to get his thoughts on writing music and making a career as a composer.
